HOLIDAY & PAYMENT POLICY

1. Lessons are held at Crossroads School of Music every day, except during major national holidays, such as Christmas Day and Diwali.

2. We charge all students for FOUR lessons per month (Default), which amounts to approximately 48 lessons per calendar year and students wishing to take more than 12 lessons per quarter are charged prorated.

3. Students are requested to renew their tuition after the completion of 4 lessons or 30 days, 12 lessons or 3 months, 48 lessons or one calendar year — whichever comes first.

4. New students are requested to fill out the Enrollment form and complete their payment formalities before their first lesson.

5. Existing students are requested to clear their tuition in advance, within the first week of the quarter in which the fee is due.

6. Tuition paid is Non-refundable and Non-transferable, we do not allow credits, and a late fee of INR 200 per week is applicable to all payments made after the due date.

7. Examination books and Trinity Examination fee are not included in the tuition.

8. Please note that all our lessons have a strict validity period, and we do not facilitate extensions of validity without the renewal of tuition.

LESSON & ATTENDANCE POLICY

1. A minimum of six hours' notice is required if students wish to cancel (Excused Absence) and reschedule their lessons on weekdays (Monday to Friday). A minimum of 12 hours' notice is required for cancellation and rescheduling of lessons on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

2. The student’s attendance roster will reflect L.M.C. (Last Minute Cancellation) for any lessons cancelled after the cut-off period, and that lesson will be chargeable.

3. If a student confirms the lesson and does not attend (in-studio) or sign in (online) during their lesson time, the student's attendance roster will reflect N/S (No Show), and that lesson will be chargeable.

4. All cancellation requests must be made via email, WhatsApp message, or phone call. Cancelled or rescheduled lessons or cover lessons for excused absences need to be redeemed within the period for which the student signs up, as lesson validity cannot be extended.

5. Cover lessons can be carried forward to the next quarter ONLY after renewal of the outstanding tuition.

6. Cover slots are posted every working day in the school WhatsApp group to help students book them to make up for any absences. Admins may also be contacted to arrange advance cover lessons or to book a series of cover lessons for planned absences.

7. In the event of a lesson cancellation by Crossroads due to a teacher's medical leave or excused absence, cover lessons will be offered at the student’s convenience, or their next tuition will be adjusted pro-rated.

PAUSE / BREAK / WITHDRAWAL POLICY

1. Lessons can be paused for a minimum period of one month. 

2. A two weeks' notice is required if a student wishes to discontinue lessons.
