HOLIDAY POLICY

  • We charge all students for FOUR lessons per month, which is approximately 48 lessons per calendar year.

  • In a calendar year, there are 52 weeks, so (52-48)= 4 weeks of break for teachers and students.

  • So, for longer months (5 weeks), you pay the same as shorter months (one with a break).

  • So, the four weeks of break happen during: - 1. Holi / Spring Break | 2. Indian Independence Week | 3. Diwali Break |
    4. Christmas / New Year Break

  • This is also done keeping in mind the health and wellbeing of our students, staff and teachers and also this makes accounting easier and the lesson coordinator will message students in advance before a break commences.

PAYMENT POLICY

  • The fee is payable Quarterly (12 lessons) / Bi-annually (24 lessons) or Annually (48 lessons).

  • New students are requested to complete payment formalities before their first lesson. 

  • Existing students are requested to clear the fee in advance, within the first week of the quarter, in which the fee is due.

  • The fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

  • We do not allow credits and a late fee of INR 200 per week is applicable to all payments made after due date.

  • International Examination books and Examination Fee are not included in the tuition.

  • Students wishing to take more than 12 lessons per quarter will be charged at a pro-rata rate.

LESSON POLICY

​

  • A minimum six-hour notice is required if the students wishes to cancel and reschedule their lessons. However, there are exceptions especially when a student suddenly becomes ill. Please let us know as soon as you know there is a problem.

  • The cancellation request has to be made via Email / Whatsapp / Text message / Call.

  • If a student confirms the lesson and does not sign in during lesson time, that lesson fee will be forfeited. 

    Cancelled or rescheduled lessons need to be redeemed within the period the student signs up for, as the Lesson Validity can not be Extended.

    Cover slots are featured every working day on the School Whatsapp Group to facilitate the same in case of absenteeism. 

  • In case of cancellation by Crossroads, cover lessons are offered as per the student’s convenience.

  • Crossroads offers free practice sessions to all students. However, the sessions are subject to availability - only when the classrooms are vacant and unused and the school is open.

  • A two-week notice is required, should you wish to discontinue lessons.​​

PAUSE / BREAK POLICY

  • Lessons can be paused for a minimum period of one month. To pause lessons, an email needs to be sent to accounts@crossroadsschoolofmusic.com with the exact duration the student wants to pause their lessons.
